Fruit & Tea Infusion Water Pitcher Review

Fruit & Tea Infusion Water Pitcher Review

Water! Water is a key factor to lose weight, but sometimes not everyone enjoys the taste of it. Even for me, I drink water daily but I get tired of it also. I love flavored water but it can be costly buying in the supermarket.

When I do make it in the pitcher at home, it has to be drunk immediately due to it loses flavor or I see the fruits remnants floating around which is nasty. Let’s be real we all love how when we go to the restaurant how beautiful infused water looks and tastes. I realized that when I do it at home, it doesn’t that look or tasted after the first day. Looking for a healthy way to have tea, vegetable, or fruit infused drinks? Learn About the Brand

The Roman Goddess of healing, Valentia, relied on nature’s gifts to heal the citizens of Umbria. Whether matriarchs seeking to maintain their youthful look or farmers seeking help for sun damaged skin, Valentia used berries, herbs, barks and other natural ingredients. We also rely on all natural ingredients due to their protective, preventative and corrective powers.

Just like our namesake, Valentia Skin Care products have been formulated with natural and organic cosmetic ingredients that will repair and protect the skin.

After performing extensive research into what skin care customers find most important, we found an overwhelming demand for skin care that is natural, free of toxins and paraben-free. Natural ingredients with an organic base have proven most effective at repairing skin damaged by sun or wind, preventing signs of aging such as wrinkles, dark spots, and reversing the effects of oxidative stress on the skin.

ALS – What It Is and How You Can Help

When Sarah Coglianese was diagnosed with ALS, she was 33; her daughter Scarlett was just two years old. While Scarlett was learning to take her first steps, Sarah was beginning to use a walker—then, a wheelchair.

In an article forCNNabout her journey navigating motherhood with ALS, Sarah writes: “At first, I was drowning in all my inability, in all the ways I thought I would fail her as a mom. Then something unexpected started to happen. The things I couldn’t do for her, she started to do for herself. When she was 2, she dressed herself. By age 3, she was opening doors for me and helping with groceries. At 4, she could make a quiche, and these days she folds laundry and cleans her room with only the slightest bit of prodding. Sometimes, she gets a broom and a dustpan and starts sweeping the floor without being asked. If my foot slips off my footrest, she nonchalantly walks over and plops it back in place.”

ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or Lou Gehrig’s Disease) is one of the worst diseases we know of. In people with ALS, motor neurons deteriorate leading to muscle weakness and paralysis. Every 90 minutes, someone is diagnosed with ALS, and most people live 2-5 years after their first signs of disease. There is currently no treatment or cure.

In 2015, Sarah launched #WhatWouldYouGive, a national campaign that challenges healthy people to give up an ability (e.g. voices, arms, hands, legs), to understand what life with ALS might be like and raise awareness and funding for ALS research. Sarah’s experience with ALS and her journey through motherhood leads her to believe that her disease will ultimately make her daughter stronger, braver, loving and empathetic—something we all hope for our children.

Linqia would give anything to help end ALS. That’s why we have been teaming up with the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI)–a non-profit biotech 100% focused on finding a treatment and cure–to build awareness of the disease and raise funds for research. We believe in the research efforts of ALS TDI and specifically in AT-1501, a very promising drug that could feasibly and finally change the trajectory of this disease. AT-1501 is on its way to clinical trial, but needs every last penny to advance. And fast.

We partner with ALS TDI through #WhatWouldYouGive, a national awareness and fundraising campaign that challenges healthy people to give up an ability to understand what life with ALS might be like. Last year alone, our company raised $15,000 through this campaign, 87% of which went immediately into the lab at ALS TDI.

So, where do you come in? This year, you will have the unique opportunity to partner with Linqia pro bono and join us in our national #WhatWouldYouGive effort. This is a chance to tell a story that truly matters, and to use your platform as an Influencer to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.

In your posts, you’ll share a message of hope & education around ALS, empowering your audiences to take action i.e. make a donation online and pass the message forward. If you have a personal story or connection with the disease, share it. Be sure to speak to your role as a parent and how that influences your desire to commit to this cause.  If you wish to educate your audience on the efforts and advancements of ALS TDI, craft an authentic story that resonates with your audience members, because it means something to you.

The goal this year is to raise$50,000through our collective efforts. And up to$25,000will be matched dollar for dollar by an anonymous and very generous donor! Together, we can raise funds to help make ALS a thing of the past! It takes a village to get it done and we want you in our village!

50 Year Anniversary of First CES in New York

50 Year Anniversary of First CES in New York
117 exhibitors and 17,500 attendees at first-ever CES

Arlington, VA, June 27, 2017 –
The very first CES was held in New York City 50 years ago this week, June 25-28, 1967. The inaugural show attracted 117 exhibitors and 17,500 attendees with main exhibits at the New York Hilton Midtown on 6th Avenue and Americana of New York Hotel (now Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel) on 7th Avenue. Since then, CES has grown immensely, with more than 4,000 exhibitors and more than 180,000 attendees at CES 2017 this past January in Las Vegas. Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), CES is the launch pad for innovation that changes the world.

“Over the past 50 years CES has evolved as the technology industry has changed, reflecting and helping drive the ever-expanding consumer tech landscape. We have succeeded throughout the years due, in large part, to our loyal customers, partners and the deep relationships we have made along the way,” said Gary Shapiro, president, and CEO, CTA. “We are honored to celebrate this anniversary and thank and celebrate our incredible industry partners, individuals, and companies who have been with us for five decades and have helped make our show the global gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies.”

Since its start in 1967, CES has showcased an estimated 700,000 products. These include world-changing innovations such as the VCR (1970), the DVD (1996), digital radio (2000) and Blu-ray recording standards (released in 2002), as well as more recent technologies – such as consumer 3D printers, AR/VR, artificial intelligence, smartphones, tablets, self-driving vehicles, 5G wireless, the Internet of Things, drones and 4K Ultra HD Television.

The first CES featured products such as transistor radios, stereos and small-screen black-and-white TVs, including the first solid-state TV. Top companies exhibiting at the first CES included: 3M, Memorex (now MEM-CE), Motorola with Lenovo, Panasonic – Matsushita, Philips, RCA (now a Technicolor brand), SANYO Fisher (now part of Panasonic), Sharp, Sony, Toshiba, Westinghouse and Zenith (now part of LG). Major global brands from a broad array of industry sectors have presented keynotes at CES, including leading executives from BMW, Carnival, Ford, Google, Intel, Microsoft, Netflix and Samsung.

Today, CES continues as the proving ground for innovators and has expanded to feature industries not traditionally connected to consumer tech such as food, travel, hospitality, health, transportation and much more. The show now touches every major industry as leaders from the entire innovation ecosystem come together to discover and experience the latest trends and network with peers. CES is where titans of tech mix with next-generation disruptors and where esteemed and highly sought after global leaders take the keynote stage to tout disruptive technology and envision new trends and markets.

Where do I start

Before all the trolls decide to visit and make a comment, take a moment and step back.

I chose to allow this to be the way it is and why because I became stagnant, The next troll who says I am being a martyr or just looking for attention maybe I am. The thing is I am CHOOSING to realign myself back to the world of social and blogging. Yes there is a lot to learn, do I expect to be an expert NO but I think I am intuitive enough to understand and ask.

Why I hate my site:

  1. My old site I LOST IT ALL. I didn’t back it up to 3 years of content and development is in the black hole
  2. WordPress – allow me to be your mistress and guide me to where I need to be or just basically I need to get $10 and go to @udemy to learn. I think the latter is my answer
  3. Themes in the last 2 months I been changing my theme and I continue to mess it up so if you have any suggestions for free themes for now and plugins that should be here those comments are welcome.

To all a good night

About Us

GREAT Kids Snacks
It is our mission to make healthy snacking convenient and fun for families while introducing them to new products they might not have had the opportunity to try before.

Kyle Atkinson – Founder

My journey of being a collegiate athlete, personal trainer, and high school basketball coach has led me to start GREAT Kids Snacks. I believe it is important to teach kids about the benefits of healthy eating so it can be a lifestyle they want to live as they grow up. Part of teaching them about healthy eating is being able to provide them with easy and convenient access to organic and all-natural products. Since studies show that kids consume almost 30% of their daily calories through snacks, what better way to teach them than to provide them with healthy snack options?

How GREAT Kids Snacks began, a message from Kyle

GREAT Kids Snacks all started when I was at the San Diego Zoo chaperoning a kindergarten field trip. I expected to see some amazing animals and kids running around behaving like wild animals, but when it came to feeding time I was shocked. It almost seemed like the animals in captivity were eating better than the kids. The school provided “lunch” for some kids, which consisted of a juice, canned chicken salad (it made me gag), graham crackers, and applesauce of some sort. Every single kid only ate the graham crackers and drank the juice. As for the kids who were lucky enough for mom or dad to pack their lunch, it was not much better. I saw a lot of “lunchables”, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, sodas, sugary juices, and candy bars. I thought I was going to be amazed by the animals; instead I was amazed by what these kids were provided to eat. It wasn’t the kids who determined what their lunch was going to be, but some adult who made a conscious decision to feed these kids that way.

This got me thinking, are these parents clueless when it comes to what is healthy, do they not buy healthy foods, did they throw what ever was closest to them in a bag, did they not have time to make something healthier? These questions in my head brought me to the conclusion that there needs to be a convenient way for parents to provide their children with healthy foods. Starting with snacks, I have set out to make parents lives easier by sending a box to their door of 30 individually wrapped snacks made of organic and all-natural ingredients. I believe the convenience factors of not having to determine if something is healthy or not, and not having to venture down countless isles at the grocery store will help parents provide their kids with the foods that growing children should be and deserve to be eating.

I wanted to take the stress out of wondering if a snack is actually healthy? What if my child doesn’t like this? Do I have enough time to stop at the store? You can be assured all 30 of the snacks, are healthy and will arrive at your doorstep by the 1st of every month. We all know kids are picky eaters and as a parent it can be a struggle to find out what they like or don’t like. The variety in the GREAT Kids Snack Box allows a kid to sample 30 different snacks every month with the option to order his or her favorites in bulk. It would be extremely costly and time consuming to shop and pick out 30 different snacks, which most of the time come in boxes of 4-7 packages. Parents are the ones who make the decisions of what to buy and have available for their kid to eat. Sure kids are picky eaters but if they are hungry they are going to eat what is available to them. Therefore parents should provide them with real healthy food and not some artificial thing chemically designed to imitate food. Luckily our snacks get kid tested for taste and nutritionist approved for ingredients to make parents lives easier when it comes to snack time.

March A Month of Madness

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Welcome to March and back to my blog. For the last three years I was Rants and Raves of a Crazed Mom, but no more. I will always be a crazed mom but now I am peeling layers off. I wasn’t happy with my name, my blog, my hair you name it and I probably write the alphabet with how I feel. As I am typing, I realize maybe the ABCs of it will be pretty good.  I know the template is ugly and generic but I have to put effort into what I want to reflect.

When I think of March, the following comes to my mind.

  1. March Madness (March 4 to April 1) – College basketball where you will see many brackets going around, more intensive than the SuperBowl
  2. Ides of March (March 15)  – The assassination of Julius Caesar

It is hard to forget what hurts you, but eventually you have to let go. Here is a little story I like to share what my biggest purge is to date. I have a robe that I have been wearing each time I get depressed or better yet I wore everyday and slept in.  Today, I put it corner that I am labeling for donations. I forgot to take pictures of the earlier, but this is key for me.  I am cold more often, but I put a sweater and keep myself moving.  Have a great night and hope to be back again tomorrow.
